I had a really enjoyable night giving a talk at the Ballybough and North Strand History Festival in Dublin where I gave a talk on Sam Maguire, Liam MacCarthy and Michael Collins. It was so much fun. My thanks to Nial Ring and Laura Williams and Ed.
Great to have such brilliant historians like Hugo McGuinness and relatives of some of the participants in attendance too. We got a great crowd.Thanks for making me feel so welcome. Feedback was really good. I was told it was riveting and had some people on the edge of their seats.
There are already plans at work for another talk early next year. This is a brilliant top quality history festival which really has a brilliant lineup. Well done to everyone involved in organising it. You did your community proud. See you again soon.
